I would like to register for the following AIPPI UK event:

21 November 2012 (5.30pm for 6pm)
The European Commission - interventions and IP; where next?

Daniel Beard QC (Monckton Chambers)
Derek Ridyard (Partner, RBB Economics)

The European Commission has been taking an increasingly interventionist approach to the role of patents and other IP in markets such as software, pharmaceuticals and mobile telecommunications, closely examining the economic effects of IP.

Daniel Beard QC and Derek Ridyard of RBB Economics will provide a guide to the more significant cases and recent events, and an analysis of the legal and economic bases on which the EC is working, its direction of travel, and the indicators which businesses need to bear in mind.

Venue: Bristows, 100 Victoria Embankment, London EC4Y 0DH
Cost: £20 (non-members), free (members)
Drinks will take place afterwards.
