Please note: this event is being scheduled in anticipation of a judgment from the Court of Appeal, and will be cancelled if the judgment has not appeared in time.

The event will provide a rapid reaction to (perhaps) the final step in the L'Oréal v Bellure litigation. The ECJ determined that attempts to "ride on the coat-tails" of a mark must be considered to be taking unfair advantage. IP practitioners should see the test applied in practice in the Court of Appeal's judgment.

Our speakers are well placed to provide particular insight for IP litigators into the litigation from UK, Benelux and ECJ perspectives. We anticipate that there will be an opportunity to ask questions after the talk.
